使動(dòng)詞的意義都有一個(gè)特點(diǎn)，即，“使某人……”。使動(dòng)詞一般有兩種形容詞的變法，一種是加ed，形容人，一種是加ing，形容物或人，翻譯為“令人……的”，“使人……的”。如：

interest, v. 使感興趣。如：

This book interests me.

這本書(shū)使我感興趣。

interested, adj. 感興趣的。如：

I’m interested in this book.

我對(duì)這本書(shū)感興趣。

interesting adj. 令人感興趣的。如：

This book is interesting.

這本書(shū)令人感興趣。

其它的使動(dòng)詞都可以有這種用法。下面總結(jié)一下初中階段學(xué)過(guò)的使動(dòng)詞：

1. 1) fascinate v.使迷人，如：

It was a question that had fascinated him since he was a boy.

這是他自幼就著迷的問(wèn)題。

2) fascinated adj.感覺(jué)迷人的，如：

He became fascinated by dinosaur.

他對(duì)恐龍研究著了迷。

3) fascinating adj.令人著迷的，如：

This is a fascinating place that I have ever been to.

這是我去過(guò)的最迷人的地方。

2. 1)shock v.使震驚，如：

This piece of news shocked me.

這則消息使我震驚。

2) shocked adj.震驚的，如：

I was shocked.

我震驚了。

3) shocking adj.令人震驚的，如：

The news is shocking.

這個(gè)消息令人震驚。

3. 1) embarrass v.使害羞;使窘迫，如：

The question about my private life embarrassed me.

這個(gè)關(guān)于我的私人生活的問(wèn)題使我感到很尷尬。

2) embarrassed adj.害羞的;窘迫的，如：

He was embarrassed by many things.

他被許多事情弄得焦頭爛額。

3) embarrassing adj.使人害羞的;使人窘迫的，如：

Some people came up with a lot of embarrassing information。

一些人想到了許多令人尷尬的信息。

4. 1) amaze v.使驚訝，如：

Your words amazed me.

你的話使我驚訝。

2) amazed adj.驚訝的，如：

I was amazed at the words she told me.

我驚訝于她告訴我的話。

3) amazing adj.令人感到驚訝的，如：

Amazing!真令人驚訝!

5. 1) bore v.使無(wú)聊，如：

Who knows why y ou bore me?

誰(shuí)知道你為什么要讓我厭煩?

2) bored adj.無(wú)聊的，如：

I am too bored.

我太無(wú)聊了。

3) boring adj.令人感到無(wú)聊的，如：

It’s a boring job.

它是一件無(wú)聊的工作。

6. 1) touch v.使感動(dòng)，如：

His words touched me.

他的話使我感動(dòng)。

2) touched adj.感動(dòng)的，如：

He was too touched to say a word.

他太感動(dòng)了以至于不能說(shuō)出一句話。

3) touching adj.令人感動(dòng)的，如：

This is a touching story.

這是一個(gè)令人感動(dòng)的故事。

7. 1) move v.使感動(dòng)，如：

This story moved me.

這個(gè)故事使我感動(dòng)。

2) moved adj.感動(dòng)的，如：

I was moved.

我被感動(dòng)了。

3) moving adj.令人感動(dòng)的，如：

His story is so moving that I respect him very much.

8. 1) surprise v.使驚訝，如：

It surprised me.

它使我驚訝。

2) surprised adj.使驚訝，如：

I was surprised at his words.

我對(duì)他的話感到驚訝。

3) surprising adj.令人驚訝的，如：

The surprising news makes me sorry.

這個(gè)令人驚訝的新聞使我感到抱歉。

9. 1) relax v.使放松，如：

Swimming in the pool relaxed me.

在游泳池里游泳使我放松。

2) relaxed adj.放松的，如：

The students were relaxed when they play on the playground.

當(dāng)學(xué)生們?cè)诓賵?chǎng)上玩的時(shí)候，他們是放松的。

3) relaxing adj.令人放松的，如：

It’s relaxing for me to go hiking。

對(duì)于我來(lái)說(shuō)，遠(yuǎn)足是使人放松的。

2) interested adj.感興趣的

3) interesting adj.令人感興趣

11. 1) excite v.使激動(dòng)，如：

I heard he won first. This excited me!

我聽(tīng)說(shuō)他贏了第一。這使我興奮。

2) excited adj.激動(dòng)的，如：

I was excited when I heard his words.

當(dāng)我聽(tīng)見(jiàn)他的話時(shí)，我非常激動(dòng)。

I was excited about his words.

對(duì)于他的話，我非常激動(dòng)。

3) exciting adj.令人激動(dòng)，如：

This is an exciting thing Since..

這是一個(gè)令人激動(dòng)的事。

12. 1) tire v.使累，如：

He felt he would never tire of international matches。

他認(rèn)為自己永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)對(duì)國(guó)際比賽生厭。

2) tired adj.累的，如：

I was tired of this job.

我對(duì)這項(xiàng)工作感到厭煩。

I was so tired but happy.

我太累了，但是非常高興。

3) tiring adj.令人感到累的，如：

This is a tiring job.

這是一個(gè)令人厭煩的工作。

13. 1) disappoint v.使失望，如：

His words was disappointed me.

他的話令我失望。

2) disappointed adj.失望的，如：

I was too disappointed.

我太失望了。

3) disappointing adj.令人失望的，如：

People won’t believe the disappointing sales any more.

人們將不再相信這種令人失望的銷售。

14. 1) scare v.使害怕，如：

The film scared me. 一點(diǎn)。

這個(gè)電影使我害怕。

2) scared adj.害怕的，如：

She was too scared to move on.

她太害怕了，以至于不能繼續(xù)往前走。

3) scary adj.令人感到害怕的，如：

It’s a scary story.

這是一個(gè)令人害怕的故事。

15. 1) frighten 使驚恐，如：

He would never frighten anyone or cause them any harm。

他永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)嚇�；蛘呤莻�害任何人。

2) frightened驚恐的，如：

I'm frightened of walking home alone in the dark.

我害怕在黑夜單獨(dú)走路回家。

3) frightening令人驚恐的，如：

We heard a frightening sound after a bright flash of lightning.

一道閃電過(guò)后，我們聽(tīng)到了可怕的聲音。

16. 1) annoy使惱怒，如：

His words annoyed me.

他的話惹惱了我。

2) annoyed惱怒的，如：

He was too annoyed。

他太憤怒了。

3) annoying使人惱怒的，如：

This is a piece of annoying news.

這是一條令人惱怒的新聞。

17. 1) please使高興，如：

What my son did pleased me.

我兒子所做的一切使我高興。

2) pleased高興的，如：

I was so pleased that I gave my mobile phone to him.

我是如此的高興以至于我把我的手機(jī)給了他。

3) pleasing使人高興的，如：

This pleasing message made me excited.

這個(gè)令人高興的消息使我興奮。
