單數(shù)變復(fù)數(shù)(規(guī)則)

A.直接+s

B. x、s、sh、ch結(jié)尾的名詞+es

C.輔y結(jié)尾的名詞，變y為i，+es

思考：boy變復(fù)數(shù)應(yīng)該怎么變?

a boy — boys (此處y前o，非輔音，所以無需變y為ies，直接+s即可)

D. f和fe結(jié)尾的名詞，去f或者fe，+ves

口訣：

妻子拿刀去追狼，小偷見了著了慌，架子底下自保命，半片樹葉遮目光

(wife、knife、wolf、thief、shelf、self、life、half、leaf)

E. 以-o結(jié)尾的名詞，有生命的+es，無生命的+s

+es的口訣：

火山上的黑人英雄愛吃土豆、西紅柿、芒果和蚊子

(volcano、negro、hero、potato、tomato、mango、mosquito)

a child — children a mouse — mice

an apple tree — apple trees

a man teacher — men teachers

不可數(shù)名詞的量

不可數(shù)名詞前不能跟a / an，在句中相當于單數(shù)，謂語動詞為單數(shù);它需要借助piece、slice、packet等量詞來表示數(shù)量，如下：

a cup of tea 一杯茶

two cups of tea 兩杯茶

a piece of paper 一張紙

two pieces of paper 兩張紙

a slice of bread 一片面包

two slices of bread 兩片面包

a packet of chocolate 一包巧克力

two packets of chocolate 兩包巧克力

思考：能否借助這個格式修飾可數(shù)名詞呢?比如，一箱蘋果!
